ODE to my DAD!

So my dad is turning 45 on the 18th and I wanted to write him a little thank you and tell him how much I love him and some of the things that stick out about him to me. 

HE is the BEST dad! 

He is MY dad...or that's what i would argue to people when I was little

You always come to my games!

You are an awesome bishop/mentor

You know how to make some bomb grilled cheese sandwiches.

You always make sure that we have fun on vacations

You are an awesome husband to mom

Your a great father

You are a good spanish class tutor

You are a great chiropractor

You are a decent golfer...haha...

You always know how to make me happy whether thats a new pair of cleats or a random phone call or text message!  

You are always pushing me to reach my full potential

You have been such an awesome Dad!  I'm really lucky to be apart of our family and I am glad to have you as my Dad!  Happy 45th Birthday!  Hope its a good one! YOur getting old...lol

easter...

Although easter was not quite the same as it once was it is still great to be able to remember the Savior and think about the resurrection!  But I have to say I miss waking up early to go to easter sunrise service at Red Rock, listening to an easter message, hiking with the kids half way up the mountain till we hear the parents whistle that the scones are ready, eating scones with powdered sugar and syrup, having contests of who can eat the most scones...man its kinda sad to not be able to go home for easter!  Its weird not to take part in the traditions you have done your whole life!    I still had a good easter though!  Got to go over to Angie and Randy's and have dinner with Darren and Deanne and Matt and Shannon and Shannon's Parents and sister as well as Randy's brother and wife.  It was fun!  And the best part...My parents sent me up an easter basket filled with see's candies and reeses chocolate eggs!  :)

won our game against utah state last night 3-1...

played pretty good...soccer is nearing its end.

we play at byu on saturday against UVU and DIXIE

and then at Oregon the next weekend vs. Oregon 

and Seattle...should be fun to get awway...can't

wait for school to be over and done with soon!

three more weeks then finals! :)
